ECM fuse keeps blowing!!!
Hi people, i have a ford explorer,94,4.0l, with bout 250,000kms,
very good truck other than this problem that has arised, the ecm fuse at first, blew every couple weeks, replace, i was on my way, over bout a 3 month period, more and more, finally now i try to start it with a new fuse, it blows as soon as i try turning it over, therefor it wont start, had it to a mechanic, he replaced a module, not sure which one?, but it was 2500.00$ by the time he was done, ouch, anyways drove it bout 50kms, same thing happened, took it back to him, he found a short through the stereo,?, or near, and i was on my way again, for about 50kms, same thing, now its on its way back, (towed), i thought someone could give me some advice on what to look for, im somewhat mechanically inclined, any advice would be much appreciated, im to the point wheres its not the money, i just need it running properly,thanks.....
