97 Heat Gauge
My heat gauge old goes up a tiny bit even when the truck is hot is this the gauge or the sensor how to a check?

More likely the thermostat. Does the heat feel cooler than it used to? My 95 was the same problem and tstat was bad.

My truck heats up just as before and the hot air still is blowing as hot as it was that was why I ruled out the stat but I don't think it has ever been changed at with 150,000 on a 97 maybe I will change it juts to make sure can't hurt for a few bucks guess best to always go with the simple stuff first
