Exhaust Woes
Purchased 1993 Explorer recently Been sitting for a while, has Parked Vehicle syndrome, THINGS BETWEEN THE GROUND AND THE FLOOR ARE FALLING OFF!
Cant seem to find a 4.0 L Y-pipe and Cat from any other than our illustrious Manufacturer. Maybe thats the way they do it in Canada. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

keep looking at the auto wreckers they will have one eventually I got my exhaust from the wreckers when I bought a lift kit off of a wreck. look at all the wreckers you can find with explorers in them

Why not just have a custom job done? You can have a custom shop do the entire thing - including a hi flow cat like a Catco - for what Ford would want. An exhaust is something I would not get from a junk yard. One - you do not really know what you would be getting in terms of how good it will be, and Two - it has probably been sitting around just as long, if not longer than yours has.

absolutely a muffler shop will do a total custom job for not that bad a price either. If i was going to redo my whole thing new I was thinking about dual exhaust I wonder what that would do for a 6 banger.
