Hey you guys I was just reading over at another thread that dodge has 40% of the diesel truck market in texas. Is this true. I am not from texas but I know ford has a loyal following down there. That took me back quite a bit . Tell me if you know this is true. I still don,t believe this. Thanks for any replies.
I call bull on that. they have a sizeable chunk of the market, but not 40 percent. Here in stephenville (diesel capital of the world) there are alot more super dutys that dodge. The chevys and there duratrash is way behind.
Hey79driver I agree with you there. I just about fell of my seat on that one. I am sure your fellow texans will respond to my thread. Sounds like the sell alot of diesel trucks in Stephenville. Mostly fords I hope. Thanks for your time.

Maybe what they mean is 40% of THEIR DIESEL TRUCKS where sold in Tx.. That maybe accurate but definetely not 40% of the diesel truck market in Tx...
That is probably right. Ya here in stephenville about 65% of the diesels here are fords. It seems like all the superdutys around here have a lift and big tires. All the dodges are basicly stock. Dont even get me started about the duratrash diesels
I think there is far more Ford diesels on the road in TX. Cause they need to be worked out of. A Dodge would fall apart in a hurry if you ever tried to work out of it.
But the Dodge diesels are on a rise with the Drug Store Cowboys thinking they have to have them to haul around their dog in the back of the truck.
