10K mod question.

10K mod question.
Did the 10K mod and it works great. The problem I have is when I let off the petal it cuts in and out until it gets to lower RPM'S. Its a steady in and out like someone turning off the key and back on really quick. Is there something I need to do to fix that or is that just a down side of the 10K mod. I plan on going to a Superchips tuner in a few weeks and was wondering if that had the same downside as the 10K mod. Without the mod the truck does not do this. 1999 PS Crew Cab.

I double checked the wires and all looks good. The mod works great and the idle is a little higher than normal but smooth. Just the cutting out on decelleration. before the mod it would do the cut out every once in a while. Just with the mod it is all the time now. I get no check engine lights comming on.

Don't mean to tell you anything you don't already know, but it sounds like you had the problem before the mod, and the 10k is just aggravating the situation. You'll need one of the Guru's here to help you out. I'm just learning this diesel stuff. And yes, my idle went up a little. I figure because of the increased fuel pressure.

it sounds like turbo flutter. Im not sure what it is but before the mod it did it about 5 times ever for less than a few seconds. Now every time I let off the pedal it does it until the idle gets to about normal. Im wondering if the waste gate is not closing properly causing this or ??. Any help would be appreciated.
