Question Intermitent Tail Lights

ok heres a weird question. my tail lights work but heres the problem, every once in a whiel on side doesnt like to ahve a break light,the parkign light part of them alwasy works, but once in a while the left or the right side decides it doesnt liek to work. it works as a turn signal though. any ideas???

a couple of things, first check the sockets to be sure they are clean and check the ground from the socket to the bed (will be the green wire connected to the socket on one end and to the bed by a screw on the other end), somethime the blub itself is all that needs to be replaced (just not good contact with the socket or dirt)
if that doesn't fix it you may need to look at the turn signal switch, but I doubt it

Make sure the bed is grounded well, I had to add a ground strap to mine last year to fix intermittent tail light problems. Turns out I have a little northeastern road salt between my bed and frame... oops.
