239 Intake Number
Does anyone have a parts I.D. guide that lists a 4 barrel intake numbered
ECZ-9425-A ???
I am looking to see if it will fit on my 239 block and heads, it looks identical to the 2 barrel I have now....but wanted to look it up to be sure. I've been told that the 1954 239 heads were a little different than some of the later y-blocks.

I appreciate the responce. I knew the possibilities were limited for my 239.
I did just finnish rebuilding the original carb for my truck (2 bbl. Ford script) and found a handful of "sand" in the bottom of the bowl. it seems as though there was NO FUEL FILTER on this joker. I have replaced the tank with a new poly one, new fuel pump, new lines in between and a nice see-through fuel filter.
I,m also gonna replace the oil bath with a nice chrome cleaner that attaches to the neck of the carb like the old oil bath did. Maybe this will help kep the carbon build up down...?? We'll see.
I might just pick up the intake and take a chance...put it up on the shelf for later use or sale.
