go to the junk yard!!! i was in there today and i seen a lot of trucks and broncos with good dashes still it may be work a try on finding a good one in there or get a nice dash cover my dash was perfect when i got it so to keep it that way i got a dash cover for it
not a single '80-86 has a nice dash out in the yards around here..
you have 2 options..
remove it, and re-upolster it. buy some fabric or vynl at a crafts store and rwap it. other option is buy a dash top from JC Whitney or National Parts Depot
matter fact i saw a older ford in the 70's some that had vynl over the dash it didnt look all that bad just get it tight and glue it down or however it is done i didnt look to closely at it just noticed it as i was looking around in it
Ya, Big Hole huh? Same problem here. You can get a dash cap at JC Whitney for about $125 plus....! but I'm not going to pay that! What I'm going to do is buy a 6x9 inch speaker grill and paint it the same color as the dash and screw it down with a little silicon. ...and then fill in the couple of dash cracks with the rest of the silicon. That outa do it. And it'll still look FORD TOUGH!
I have owned 3 80's model ford truck and never had a dash that wasnt cracked. I always went to wal mart bought a role of gray interior carpet like 7 bucks and recoverd them myself looks alright better than a hole
