Finding an egr valve sensor ?
Does anyone know of a site that I can find an EGR valve position sensor for a 1994 ford explorer ? I got one from Advance auto but it turned out they only have a "Updated part ". Which my wiring harness wont even plug into. The guy there shwed me a picture on the computer of the older one they used to have "the one I needed " but they dont have them anymore. Napa has one for a hundred dollars !, but without a pic Im not sure if its the right one either. I have searched the net for days and found that Tomco Inc. makes one that I need but I cant contact them through their website to find where i might get one . Their part number is 10909. I cant even find one through the main mopar site . Jeez , should I just call the tow truck and retire this truck ? I think I need to be careful ordering one from just anywhere because they have about three type of sensors that go to this years model. The dealer wants more than napa. Do I just bite the bullet and pay such a crazy price for this thing ? Thanks for your help...
