Which one is # 1 cylinder?

I know this is a dumb question, but on a 1994 Explorer with a 4.0 V-6, which one is # 1 cylinder? I think it is the drivers side front, is that right?

No, it's passenger side front.

on all Ford V6 & V8 number 1 Clyinder is the front clyinder on the right bank(passinger side)
