A couple problems I see. Only rated to 75mph. I'm a little heavy footed so before I know it the needle is pegged. designed to be a drive wheel, not a steering wheel. Don't know if that is a problem on a light truck. Oh yeah, light truck, do you really need an H-load tire capable of 4800lb ea. on a 3/4 ton truck?
Hey, but whatever floats your boat. I like the Rickson eliminators.

75 MPH limit? That's a problem. I would like to get them because of hauling G/N trailers with big pin weight all the time.
I like what i see in that pic.I wonder what size he is running?
The limit was from goodyears website. But you know they are always conservative on their estimates. Probably figured at max load anyway. Wasn't sure how they would look until I saw that picture. Not too shabby. I wonder how they would look on an older body style?

My 12 plies are rated for 85 mph. That "85" is figured for fully loaded at maximum temperatures. (fully loaded with these would put 8300 lbs on the rear axle...NO WAY would I do that anyway). So, speed isn't much of a problem, as an empty truck would have an increase in speed capability. You shouldn't drive that fast anyway I would not get the 14 plies as your axle would never tolerate the load you could put on those tires.
I can't tell any "ride" quality difference between stock 16's and the 19.5's when they are aired down to 75 psi. You can't beat these suckers for hauling a camper, or towing a heavy trailer. They will alter your rear axle ratio as they are slightly taller.
The ride is about the same, but you do notice the extra weight of the tires. Stock tire and Al. wheel were 62lbs and the 19.5 115lbs. The diameter is right on so the speedo is now exactly correct.
I have the Toyo M608z (14 ply rated) 5 steel plies in the tread and 1 in the side wall. Sure makes it feel more solid around the corners with that steel ply and the 70 series.
Can't wait to try the camper with these. I just got them in Feb.
