I was thinkin, and I dont think Ive ever seen paintball discussed in here. I was just wonderin how many of yall play and if yall have you own equipment or if you rent and if you have your own what do you have? What do yall think of paintball, like it? or no.
I first started playin when I was in 6th grade and I rented for a while. My first gun was a Spyder compact, good beginner gun and easy to work on. I sold it and saved money and bought an Auto-cocker for $300 from my cousin and put a Gen-X II Reg and a Kapp Drop. I got tired of always having to mess with it so sold it and bought an 02 Impulse for $430. I also have a Redz 7+3 pack that holds a total of I think 1030 paintballs. That was a year and a half ago. I havent gotten to play in a while cause of the money, I used to play all the time.

I play. Not nearly as often as I'd like, but I LOVE it when I get to.
I have a basic Bone Daddy gun from Academy Sports. It has proven to be a pretty good gun for the money.
I think my favorite game is one we play in an open field. One team (typical about 5 per team) against another. Nothing to hide behind, you don't have to quit when you get hit. You just run and shoot. You play until you want to quit or until you run out of paintballs. You get hit A LOT, but you get to shoot a lot too. It is a blast. VERY fast paced and not for the faint of heart.
I plan to buy a nicer gun one day. But for now, all I need is a bigger CO2 tank and more paintballs!
Haha yea Ive played that way before. I remember once we were playin speedball and the ref stacked the teams. Me with my cocker and my redz pack (to carry more paint), a friend with a shocker and a kid with another shocker vs probably 10 other kids (mostly rentals but a few had nice guns). Well right off the bat one of our guys got shot so it was just me and my friend. I bunkerd 2 guys and moved up and my friend had gotten 2 others. Well they started surrounding us and we played back. We both ducked behind a bunker big enough for both of us to easliy stand behind and to where they couldnt come around without us knowin. Well we sat there and just rapped on them forever. Kept em back for the longest time and we used to much paint that we started to run outta air (we both had full bottles when we started, I went through about 600 when it was all said and done). Well our ***** were barely makin it 150 ft and there were only like 4 kids left at this point so we looked at eachother and both of us knew what we were thinkin. So I took off down the right tape and he took the left tape and it took em by surprise, bunkered everylast one of em. That was the only way we were gonna be able to get em. I dont know if yall have ever heard an auto cocker but they are intimidating and DEADLY accurate.
I used to play alot. Now it seems like no one plays around here anymore. I had a tippman 98 that I borrowed for a while. We never played by any rules just shot until we ran out of ***** or air. We would have like 10 people and we would play like 9 on 1
When it was my turn to be that one, hid in a bush and threw rocks at a chevy pickup. They heard the noise, surrounded the truck and shot at it. I then had a clear shot and got 7 of em before they got me.
hahahahahahah kill two birds with one stone. Or three....hit chevy with rocks, get chevy shot, and you win in the end. Those who trow rocks at chevies will win in the end.
Heck ya, i never would have done that to a ford. The funny part about it is my friend that owned that truck got mad because I knocked some bondo off off his truck. The other guys we were playing with were laughing their @$$es off. Funny thing is that 9 months later that chevy still dont run. All of those guys i played with that time have sold their guns. The only thing i have to shoot at now is cows
Ive played one time, and out of the three games we played i got busted in the head each time. I liked it but not enough to buy my own gun, by the way the chevy deserved whatever it got. hehehehe
I haven't played in about a year. However I have seven different guns, Spyders, tippman's, cockers, Dragun specials etc..... I have a group of about thirty guys and girls that like to play when ever the call goes out for a game. You can usually count on at least twenty to show up. My family has 82 acres of ground that we use for paintballing. We have forts in the woods and big open fields. My favorite is the area we call the "Dump". My family is into Landscaping and all of the debris from jobs (all natural stuff, no trash) have created huge mounds. They are all in about a 100 yard by 100 yard area, and there are 8-9 big mounds about 20 feet high in close proximity. They make for awesome games. My Favorite game we play is called El' Presidente. Basically the least experienced player gets picked to be the President. He or she gets to pick two body guards. The rest of the people are the assassins. So you have three against seventeen. The President can win the game by staying alive for 15 minutes (it's a timed game) or reaching the designated safe zone. The Assassins are all working independently. It's a real fun game. The president has only survived three times out of like 30 times we have played it. Usually the bodyguards are the best players on the field, but the odds are stacked against them. It's very interesting to watch peoples strategy. Good times.............
Ive played that before. Ive also played one called Traitor, you split up the teams like normal. If someone gets hit, they switch teams but they arent aloud to tell ne one. If that same person gets hit agian there out. Its a fun game and you ALWAYS have to watch your back.
Hey, has anyone played in a tournament? I did a couple years back. It was five on five with sup air(bunkers inflated with air). The first game we played we won, but the rest we lost. Though the first game we beat the team that won the tourny.
we have a 4th of july paintball game every year the only problem is some people were getting hit on purpose because when ya get hit your out but there is clams beer ect at the end hehe
I have a friend that plays professional. He invited me to play once but I wasnt able to . And it turns out they won, $5000 and Angels was the prize I coulda gotten me an Angel
I play every so often with my brother, dad, mom, and some others. We usually go up to the property my dad owns and we'll go all out. We all have our own equipment. It's tons of fun.
I have always wanted to play but haven't done it yet. Too many interests and not enough money. I'd like to get into rock climbing too. Hopefully, when I graduate from college I will have more time to pursue some of my interests.
