Evil also makes a good paintball and I would second the marbalizer. I've tried the Diablo brand, but I just do not like it.

As far as flyers go...trying altering the velocity up or down just a little to see if that helps. Remember, for the most part, paintballs are flying with no spin on them, sort of like throwing a knuckleball.
A ball (or any similar object) in free flight without an axis of rotation will tend to be somewhat inaccurate when compared to the same object spinning about an axis.
I know from shooting an old pump BB gun w/ an unrifled barrell that it would tend to be less accurate at max pumps.
I have tweeked the velocity on my paintball gun up/down and seem similar effects on accuracy.

Just something else to consider.

BrianA is right, do you play on rec fields or just out in random places. If its in random fields and since you use Co2 (Im guessin), you have no way to chrono your gun. Co2 is very unstable and depending on the temp outside and other variables, the velocity of your paintballs will spike up and down. At rec fields you have to chrono your gun to 280 and no higher. What you might try is keepin it around 260 or so. Co2 causes a spike in vel or a drop in vel almost everyshot. I remember once I got shot from about 40 feet away in my arm. I didnt think much but when I looked down at my arm it was bleeding and I had bits and pieces of shell stuck in my skin. I was like uhhh thats NOT RIGHT. So I got a ref and we got the kids gun and chrono'd it and it was somewhere around 380. The speed of paintballs are measured in FPS or Feet Per Second, if you already didnt know lol. Also another question, when your breaking paint, are there bits of shell stuck b/t the bolt and the housing? Or is it always in the barrel.

I play a couple of times per year, but this spring is gonna be cool. My friend just bought a Phantom, a accurate pump action gun, and he has a autococker with a short trigger, freak barrel kit, and a couple of other mods. I'm either gonna use the phantom or cocker instead of the Tippmans I usually rent. Maybe on day I will actually buy a gun, but I need a new job first.
