Do you know when things like plugs, wires, cap & rotor, air & fuel filters, PCV valve, etc. were done? Have you pulled the codes?
Anyway, besides that stuff, the throttle body could be dirty, and the IAC (Idle Air Control) could be dirty. The IAC is a solenoid valve bolted onto the side of the throttle body and can be removed and cleaned with throttle body cleaner. Don't use carb cleaner.
