I Have A 92 Bronco , My Front Tires Lean (top Closer In) What Is The Result Of This , When I Get New Tires What Should I Expect
Them To Tell Me I Need Replaced ......
With TTB front suspension, the camber changes with up and down travel of the suspension. They do not move straight up and down, like with a solid axle. The camber you describe could due to sagging, worn out coil springs. Get an alignment shop to check everything. There may be a way to adjust it.
i think that i had the same problem you decribed. When i bought my bronco i noticed that the bottom of the front tires leaned in quite a bit more that the top of them. I tried to brush it off, just happy that i finally had my bronco. But a few months later i noticed that the outer part of my 31" BFG a/t's were wearing but the inside was not. I took it to the alignment shop and got the front end realigned and that straightened up the front tires. Hope that helps out.
Yes, this is a camber issue. If you have sagging springs this can happen. The correct way to fix this is by replacing the springs and correcting the sag condition. There are also camber correction kits available that can fix it. This problem is most prevalent on lifted vehicles, and most especially on the TTB setup when anything goes out of factory spec.
