2000 Super Duty Console

Can anyone tell me about the "revised" floor console that's to go in the 2000 Super Duty (Crew Cab) with captains chairs? I'm hoping that Ford has fixed the lack of suitable cup holders. Big truck but no place to put a big gulp. Anyone have any ideas about this?

2000 Super Duty Console

I saw a 2000 CC/Lariat at the dealer last week, it had the parchment captain chairs & console. I didn't see any differance than the 1999, however I could only look through the locked window. They may be changing it after the first ones land. You are right , they need a real drink holder, not an empty cup holder.

2000 Super Duty Console

Thanks for the feedback. I really like the console that's to go in the Excursion. Real cup holders for front and back (all in one unit). Would work great for the crew cab that I'm wanting to order. Will probably wait until January though.

2000 Super Duty Console

Sorry, bad news. The console doesn't even have cup holders. The cup holders are in the dash. When you pull them out some rubber tabs pop up to hold the cup. Looks less suitable to hold a big gulp than the old ones.
