Console vault removal
Hey Guys,
I'm looking to buy a new truck and my dealer found one with everything I want, but it also has the vehicle console vault which I don't want. I found a few threads talking about it but haven't heard any one confirm if they have removed a factory installed vault.
Console Vault has a video of how to install/remove theirs, I just want to know if the factory version is any different.

Assuming it comes out I am hoping to install .

Still haven't bought the truck yet. The dealer found one they are gone ship in, it just happens to have the vault adding in. Good to know it can be removed, and also that there are people interested in it. At least I'd get back some of the money paid for it.

I just installed the OCD organizer with a vault in my truck. It was a little tight and caused it to bend a little, so I trimmed about an 1/8" off each end of the pieces and it fit perfectly.
