somewhere i read about someone took hinges of a buick that has front flip hood ,can not rember what year.he put them on a 56 ford truck to make a flip hood.was i just dreaming , has anyone heard of this been done? also does anyone know what year buick had this

I believe it was the late 80's buicks (centuary i believe) I have used one before on my s-10 and loved the results, but have not used one on my 56(yet) It was easy to install, it took about 2 1/2 hours to do with minor cutting and welding
