A few days ago I noticed my speedometer and odometer were not working on my 95 f150. Also noticed my interior dome wasn't working. However, it was still running fine. When I got home I checked the fuses and found number 8 fuse (15 a) out. I replaced. However, the next day when I tried reversing out of the garage my truck stalled. I tried again and again it stalled. I tried going forward in 1st gear (manual tranny) and yes it stalled. I looked on the internet for similar problems and someone mentioned pulling the speedometer fuse. I did that and it runs fine again, but with no speedometer or odometer. Does anyone know what would cause this?

It could be the speedometer causing the problem. A bouncing needle is unually another symptom. The ones I've seen go bad make it real hard to start moving with a manual tranny, but once you're past that dead spot at about 1 mph you're fine until you slow down again to that same spot, then it'll die.
You might be right. I drove it awhile without the fuse. I then reinserted the fuse. It was rough at first but I was able to take off. I drove around the neighborhood and did notice the needle trembling. Thanks.
Does the needle bounce if u get over 60mph? So it has a dead spot at like 2-3 mph? Do a search for Bad PSOM, its a fairly common problem. Sounds like you need a new speedometer module. Typically I suggest checking the rear end sensor and wiring as well as the toothed ring inside the rear end but that is fine if the needle is not bouncing. The dead spot at 2-3 mph is a large hint at it being the speedometer.
