80 F100 door panel slide lock inserts

My first post! My first project truck! I'm fixing up Dad's p/u and can't find the insert that goes around the door lock slide...dark blue. Also replacing the window track rubber . How do you get the glass out, or do you need to? The wing window rubber looks like a party also...

On my girlfriends 81 f100 we updated the door locks to the newer style on top of door.The window felt can be changed without removeing window in about 15 minutes.The vent window assy is also easy to remove.Belive it or not most of the info needed is in the chiltons book as all are the same from 80-86

window felt - driver's side

I am looking for replacement window felt for the driver's side of my 86 reg cab F-250? Any ideas on locating a cheap replacement and any tips on the install?

Jc whitney is cheap but oem is not much more money.Take off your door panal,lower the window. remove bolt for front channel,remove bolt for rear channel, now that the window can move back and forward pull out the old rubber and put in the new. be aware that the rear channel will fall out with rubber just make sure it goes back in place . Finish off with pressing all around channel to make sure it is in all the way.Good luck
