New v10 SD
Since I got a lot of good info from the various discussions- thought I would post the results of my first month with my new F250 SD shortbed, supercab, Lariat V10, 3.90 automatic compared to the'89 longbed 460 v8, 3.70 5 speed that I sold. Old truck drove and rode like a truck- new truck like a Lincoln. Old truck 7-12 mpg- new truck 14plus highway 12 towing a three horse with living quarters, gooseneck horsetraile. Sure glad I didn't get the PSD- the v10 is quiet, it's getting decent mpg and is rated to pull a heavier trailer (for the F250SD-check out Fords charts) and I saved $4,500! Love this truck! Tim
