clunk in right front

clunk in right front

have 2004 f-250 it has a clunk in the right front and the dealer can not find it. anyone know anything about this?

Welcome to FTE!

With a new truck it's hard to imagine, but:
(1) Track bar bolts were not tightened properly
(2) Caliper bolts are loose
(3) Loose cab mounts
(4) Ball Joints are bad

Is the clunk when the right front tire hits a bump? If so it might be a broken strut

Also, check the shock mounting bolts.

Mine was just at the dealer today for the same problem. They think it has something to do with the damper for the AC compresser. Try shutting off your climate control equipment before shuttin down the truck. I think that might be the problem with mine. I just can't believe that the damper hits hard enough to shake the mirrors.
