Question from eBay Member: Pioneer PRS-X320 Premier Amplifier
thanks for the suggestions, brianas asked about speakers. I am buying components from madisound (woofer and tweeter) and they are buiding the crossovers for those components i also am planning on two tens in a custom fiberglass box built by me for my regular cab.
Linear Power i guess a web site can only say so much, but a satisfied customer can say much more, i like the idea of buying direct and also it is very nice that the company you order from is actually the company that made the product! what have you purchased from them?
I have personally owned several LP amps and have never had a problem of any kind. I have one that was even stolen from my car and was recovered by the police. I have had it in three or four vehicles and it still works perfectly. And trust me when I say, it's been through the mill, as far as use. I've been fooling with car audio for 30 years and LP is my favorite. They have never "sold out", so to speak. Did you check out their demo vehicles?

yes i did check out their demo vehicles in fact i think i have been through their entire site now and you may be changing my mind, also i know what you mean about many companies selling out, but what do you think of the pioneer equiptment brianas posted that is for sale on ebay?
i (for some reason) have always viewed pioneer as "beginer or low end" equiptment.
how much better is the premier line?
try flipping thru a caraudio mag. and see what type of equipment is installed in the SQ cars they showcase
Im not pushing the premier line--I personally have alot of different favorites
I do have about 6 trophies from national sq comps. for my current setup
I was just showing you a great deal--I would go to a store and talk to some other installers that have some knowledge - if u plan on dropping some $$

I personally have no experience with the Premier line. But I feel safe in saying it can in no way compare to the LP TO3 Series. However, that's not to say that you wouldn't be happy with something in that line. It depends on the importance you place on audio. But I have a feeling that if you have gone to the trouble of dealing with Madisound, then you must be serious. My thought on Pioneer is that they are "middle-of-the-road" when you consider the whole spectrum of what's available in car audio. If I was to consider any "name" brand that is commonly known and available, it would have to be JLAudio.

I have been talking to madisound also taking suggestions from them on what to purchase for speakers but i have not yet purchased anything from them or met anyone with experience with them or even anyone that has ever heard of them. when you say "trouble of dealing with madisound" do you mean that negativly towards madisound or are you just surprised i have heard of them?
do you have any experience with madisound?
i know there are other companies online like them would you suggest any other to check out?

I didn't mean that negatively at all. Actually, quite the opposite. They've been around for a long time. Yes I have purchased from them. I have Vifa mids and Peerless tweeters in two vehicles that came from Madisound. I can't recommend the Peerless for ultra high end use. They are very average. Of course they are only about $15/pr. The Vifas are great. The next tweeters I get will be Morels. Very pricey, but very nice.
