final tow questions...i promise

hey everybody...
i want to use my fatherinlaw's trailer this weekend to transport some stuff for the big move...my question is this:

do ALL 95XLTs have the harness from the factory for wiring the trailer?

i know i have to get a conversion harness from autozone or something, but this past weekend, i was looking in the back, where the jack is (in that little compartment) for the factory wire harness, and i couldn't find anything.

could somebody please tell me exactly where to look, and maybe even post a pic of what it should look like?

thanks so much...

i have to use the bumper hole with a ball for this trip, but it shouldn't be anywhere near 3500lbs.

if i don't have the wire harnes from the factory, are there any tutorials on wiring my own so i can get this trailer legal?

thanks again,
peace,
aeon

there should be a plug under the left rear bumper. The factory harness plugs into this plug. If your explorer did not come with one you should be able to get one from a junk yard or the ford parts store.
