Question Auxiliary Idle Control - Help!

I know this topic has been covered in the past regarding installation of the AIC in an X. But this non-technical owner needs some more guidence from anyone willing to offer it.

I have the write up that talks about saddle splicing into the twisted pair behind the OBD. But there in lays the problem. What the heck is the OBD and what does it look like? Where can it be found? I found a plug under the dash but it does not have a wire coming from the #15 pin. So I am thinking this is not it.

Help.

I have no idea how to hook one up but I do know that the OBD port is right by your right leg. Have no idea if that helps of not...

I'm really just trying to increase my post count...

Finished!

Well I did it! Thanks to the local ford dealership mechanic whom lent me his voltage meter, I was able to locate a 12v key power source. The AIC fired right up. Now the only thing left to do is to creat an accessible location that looks cool.

Thanks for the help here and at !
