Does anyone know if the Baumann TCS kit for a 1992 E40D will work on the 1991 E40D? I haven't got an answer back from Baumann yet! The performance shop I bought it from has given me more than one headache, hope this isn't another one! Thanks
Hi, as far as I know, it ahould work, the only difference could be in conectors, because Ford make changes to Manual Lever Possition Sensor conector and also for Selenoid pack Conector.
Just have a look of those cennectors and compare with actuals. If you are planing leave the TCS controller in same truck, you don't need reprogram it.
By the way... I'm going to install this same controller in a few days in my truck, what's your appinion? Are you satisfied with TCS performance???

sorry, still not up and running, one thing you may want to check, if the torque converter clutch solenoid on your tranny is low impedence (1 ohm) you will need to change it to a high impedence (10 ohm) model, according to the instructions that come with the tcs, ford part number, F5AZ-7G136-A, i hope to have mine going by the end of the weekend.
Well finally my TCS is working, last saturday I had done all tranny upgrade to my truck and it is going very nice. Right now I'm in the Fine Tune process for TCS but basic operation is satisfactory.
