5 speed reliability?

I bought a 92 f-150 with a 300-6 5 spd 4WD. I've got a 351w that needs a home. my question is how much will the 5spd take before it comes apart. I'm planning on building it with around 9:1 comp, factory heads with 1.9 and 1.6 valves with bumps ground off, 260 retro roller cam (or somethin close to that), performer intake with 1411 edelbrock on top, headers. lookin for all the torque I can get. feel free to give me your opinion, good or bad.

thanks,
scott

Probably the general concensus here will be it won't hold up, especially if it's a hotter 351 you're putting in front of it. They don't have a great reputation behind stock 300 and 302's. There is one guy here who swapped in a pretty much stock 351w and AFAIK hasn't had trouble yet.

I'd put something that's more heavy duty. My M5OD isn't holding up that great behind my 300. I don't see it lasting very long.
