FE oil mod's question again...

okay i know what to do with the block mod's but im confused. on ratsmokers website it says to use a melling pump and arp driveshaft, why? also it says to chamfer the oil holes in the main saddle what does that mean?

As far as the Melling pump and ARP driveshaft, these are prefered parts that hold up well (ask GTex about the driveshaft he just replaced...). Chamferring out the holes is like feathering out the edges a little further. This will allow for better alignment of the oil holes in the main saddle and crank.

I'll try and get some pictures of the "chamfering" tonight - my block needs to be used somehow.

The holes in the main saddles do not match the holes in the bearings. You will need to do what Mike said. Install your main bearing and outline the portion of the hole that is covered by the crank saddle. This will show you where to chamfer. You are not drilling here. You want to make the oil path curve out to meet the hole.
