Is the dealer the only way to get new keys made for my 2001 Supercrew?
I only have 1 key now and would like to get a couple more. I was told that the dealer had to program the keys because I only had one. Is this true?
I have been told that some locksmiths can also cut the correct keys.
New ones can be programmed as per the procedure in the owners manual.
I had mine done at the dealer that I bought it from because it only had one key when I bought it. (No charge to me, but the receptionist said that it would have been about $90)
