99 F250, 4X4, V-10, Auto, 4.30, Lariat, Crew Cab, Short Bed. What an awsome truck! I love everything about it except the Chevy 1/2 ton sized gas tank. 29 gallons! What kind of bone head thought of that?
Anyone know who makes a larger tank for this worthy truck? I don't care if it is a replacement with a larger capacity or an auxillary tank.
I didn't buy this truck to get good gas mileage (I would have bought a Nissan, Chevy, or Toyota for that) but I would like to go more than 275-300 miles between fill-ups.
Any info would be helpfull.

Wow Bill! I'll tell you what, I've got a '00 F250 2WD(not 4wd) supercab(not crew) short bed w/ V10 & 4.30's and I can only get about 220mi to a tank of fuel. Now, it's not really broken in yet, it only has 500mi on it but I don't drive very agressively. I think your probably doing pretty good. I have heard some guys claiming 14mpg though. Hmmmmmmmmm.
