On your truck you can look up under the dash next to the e-brake pedal and see the PCM. If there is a chip installed, the plastic cover will be removed and you'll be able to see the chip piggy-backed onto the back of the PCM.

You will have to remove the E-brake pedal assy. (three bolts if I remember right), and you will see the pcm behind it. Stock has a black plastic cap in the center of it, if it has a chip it will usually have the mfr. name on it, however most mfr.'s suggest using duct tape over it to secure it. Of course this info only applies to chips installed at the pcm.
