Engine Mounts? Please help!
Hello all,
After I had my transmission rebuilt,I began experiencing a high pitched squeeking noise as I drove it.I had the passenger put his head down under the dash I drove it slowly and the noise seemed to be coming from the hump in the floor but more towards the front.I had to take it to the transmission shop for a periodic inspection,so I had them check it and they said it was the transmission mount. I replaced the mount and it still makes the same squeek noise but seems to be more persistant now.Could it be the engine mounts?
Please help me with anything you can.

Take it back
Now that you replaced the mount, take it back to the trans shop so they can listen again. Probably going to be a process of elimination, or tie your cousin to the front of the truck(head down of coarse) and see if he/she can hear where the noise is coming from........
