steering column bearings?

steering column bearings?
I have a tilt wheel out of a 78 or 79 and the bearings need to be replaced, any advise or links to a thread on how do do this. thanks

Pull it out & install a good used straight column which won't give you this problem. I have a 78 that had the same problem so you don't need to ask how I know this.

we made one so so tilt out of two that we had, swapping different parts, but if this one f's up we will get a straight column, like you suggested, thanks
