1989 ranger 2.9 problems
Hello, I am new to this site and i have a few questions. First off i am replacing the crank in my truck (89 2.9). I am trying to find the best way to go with the gaskets. I am having problems finding the front crank seal because alot of the places i talk to dont know what i am talking about. Is there another name for the front seal of the crank? Also, the A/C compressor bearings are out and i want to replace them but i dont know what compressor i have and i dont know where to look to find that out. So if anyone knows please help. One more thing. I am replacing all the engine bearings and just curious if the piston rings are ok. I ran the truck hot one day after the intake gaskets blew and thats what caused the bearing to give. Does anyone think the piston rings are ok? I appreciate your help.
