wheel bearing replacement

I need to replace the rear wheel bearing on my 87 bronco. It has an 8.8" rear in it. are there any special tools required? What parts will I need to complete the job? Should I do both sides at the same time or just the one that is chirping(right side)?

Well if the bearing on the axle tube is worn out, chances are the whole diff's bearings are gone too. To replace the axle tube bearing you need to pop the diff cover off, pull the C-clips on the axle shafts, remove the axle shafts. Pull the seal out with a seal puller, then using a slide hammer with the right bearing puller attachment remove the bearing. With a bearing knocker tool or equivilant put the new bearing in until it sits flush and put a new seal in. Make sure the axle shafts don't have any pits or rough spots where the bearing rides, it needs to be smooth or they're not much good.
