A while back I believe it was said that FOMOCO was to discontinue building Excursions. Is this still the case? I believe they should still build them - no other car manufacturer can compete or compare any of their lines of SUV vehicles to FOMOCO. I have read in this forum that if you want a car buy a Suburban & if you want a truck buy an Excursion. I TOTALLY AGREE.
So why all this talk and can someone tell me how much longer they will build them?
From what I remember, Ford was supposed to stop making them (I think) this year. Do a search on threads about "excursion production" and you should find your answer. I just did one and a thread called "excursion discontinued?" came up. Check it out.
They will build them as long as they are insanely profitable as they have been !!!
And WITHOUT ANY advertising !!!!
Tell me when you saw the last Excursion commercial ???
I've never seen one and have had one Ex or the other since Sept 02....
All you'll see is a glimpse of one on the "Truck month" series...

That is true. I actually called my dealer asking why they and Ford haven't been advertising the X. But I guess they don't need to seeing as they're selling so well. Almost everywhere I go a see an X, sometimes more!
