....Your engine siezes......the engine being you. My own guess is 20 to 30 years.

The engine will be 52 this year. Hope to get at least 30 more years out of it. Never know though. Being a firefighter the motor could seize at any time.

Geez, this one is hard to answer, for one with the advances we are seeing in medicine, who knows, but on the other hand, quality of life becomes an issue,I watched both of my grandparents live well into their 90`s,both needing nursing for the last 5 or so years of it,so if they tell me,ya we can help you live to 150,but can not improve on things like alzimers or bone density,I think I would rather ck out at about 80 or 85,so that I dont make my children suffer like my parents did,but then again who knows what medical science will discover next.

I plan on keeping my engine running for many more years. I finally found the love of my life a year and a half ago and I want to stay with her for about fifty more years- that would make me 88, BTW. I hope that having something to look forward to helps the engine keep running.

I'm not sure when I'll seize up, but the way I feel most days it probably won't be long. As it is right now, I'm in shock at the new forum look and think I've spun a bearing. I guess that's what happens when ya don't stop in for a week.
