I rather live every day enjoying life & not dwell on death until death comes to get you. At anyrate it can happen after I press submit, next week, next year, or 100 years down the road.
Hey but if we are having fun with it then.....
I'll probally put dipstick in the wrong tube & get it stuck. That would be away to go.
A vessel could rupture in me while I type this, or in you while you read it. Death is certain, when is not ours to know.To ponder or worry about when is a useless exercise, a waste of time. I will reach my three score and ten in July (maybe), and I know there is more behind me than in front of me - I have no problem with that. HOW you live is more important than HOW LONG you live. Each day is a precious gift to be enjoyed or wasted, and we all make the choice.

P.S. I am currently languishing in the purgatory of those lepers and outcasts who have violated the dreaded 60/40 rule, locked out of OTL - I am hoping to survive that.
Yeah, living to the fullest seems like a better mode then just surviving to an old age. I just don't want to turn 70 and realize that I am out of money. Ah......what is 60/40?
I spite of my slightly overweight condition (according to Deathclock), it shows I will live until Groundhog Day, 2045. That's a little scary, I think I might prefer April Fool's Day, 2034. That would be plenty long enough for me. ;-)

It is good that you are thinking about the future. Planning and acting now will make for a good future. I retired at 62 and never looked back - retirement is GREAT!
The dreaded 60/40 rule pertains to the OTL Forum. If your post count on OTL is more than 40% of your posts, you will be locked out (OTL will disappear from your screen) . I am waiting for my time in pillory to expire so that I can once again (within the rules) enjoy my favorite forum.

I'm married, we have a son, have a great job, and are buying our first house. I want to see our son's first baby, marriage, and house. To me, I am a success in my life. I'm happy with the roads I have taken to get here. There were alot of detours, as well as dead ends. But, I'm approaching the finish line. I know how to make my future, I just want to help our son accomplish his. All that matters to me now is I fulfill my job as a mommy.
OK..who posted that Deathclock thing????? Thanks a LOT!!!
Choosing Pessimistic and being a fat smoker....Tuesday, March 9, 1999 according to the Death Clock. OMFG!!!!! I'm dead and don't even know it yet!
Then I decided that Im not always a pessimist. I think Im 50/50 there..so I guess that makes it "normal" mode... whichgives me until Thursday, May 24, 2018 . <----- I'll take that one. That makes me only 66 at death, but that is 11 years longer than my dad lived...so anything past 55, as far as I'm concerned, is bonus time.
Now if I quit smoking and lose weight....get to normal range for my height...
Tuesday, August 5, 2025 = that would make me 73. Hmmm... the way I ache and hurt all the time now... I think the last 10 are gonna be pretty non ambulatory....wheel chair..or worse.
You know, this thread makes me uncomfortable facing the ultimate destination, yet it also makes me appreciative of what I do have.
I cannot answer your question - it presumes that "natural" expiration date, while such may not be the case at all. Car and truck accidents, and other things beyond the scope of this topic.
