Cruise Control Weirdness
The cruise control on my 89 will pick up about 4 to 5 MPH when I engage it and sometimes it will hold that, sometimes it hunts so bad I have to turn it off. Other times it works just fine. Any suggestions?

This probably won't help much but my 96 F150 IL 6-300 5 speed had cruise control shuting off with with my right turn directional.
My left rear brake.directional bulb was burnt out.
Replaced the bulb now cruisecontrol works fine.
don't figure does it.

I've heard of that happening on a few posts here. I guess the newer ones use the brake light circuit to cancel cruise instead of a vacuum dump valve at the brake pedal like mine.
