I was just wonderin what yall think of the 'new' (been out for a couple years) mini cooper. I think they are pretty cool myself. My dad also happens to own one but wont let me drive it. Anyone happen to own one or have driven one? I know this is a ford truck site but i just wanted to see what people think about these cars
I for one think they're pretty cool. But if you're going to get one (not targeted towards you, just people in general) at least get the "S" model. It gets a supercharger which makes it just plain fun. Plus about 9 grand in mods you can 275bhp. Most would laugh but keep in mind that this is a Mini. Power to weight anyone?
Actualy my dad has the S model. Has the 6 speed manual. I think the 'hood scoop' on the S looks cool. Might have a pic or two tomorrow. If anyone gets one, dont stuff big people in the back seat
I tried to get my girlfriend to get one, but she got a new beetle convertable instead. Never, ever buy the first year of a new model, especially a convertable, ESPECIALLY from a company that has recently cut back on it's warranty. More squeaks and rattles than a stakebody F-350.
Thoughs cars are so small I,m afraid I would run one over at the lights in My F350 steak body. The folks around that have tham are crazy no respect for the larger cars or trucks. I can,t for the life of me figger out why anybody would want to save gas over safety with one of thoughs cars.
I would like one just as a Sunday/playtime driver. Got in one at a car lot and it was surprisingly comfortable. I'm 6'3" and felt good in the driver seat. I would not attempt the back though.
They actualy go pretty fast. The fastest my dad has gone is 135 in our S model. Another bonus is that all the girls like it. Trouble is its so small, you cant fit all the chicks in it.
Cute cars, but look like a girl car. I like the way they drove them in "The Italian Job" though! The after market folks are making a mint off those cars these days, too.
I think their cool looking. I wouldnt mind having an S model and building a "little" sleeper out of it (git it "little"=mini LOL LOL). In my book Mini Coopers are way cooler than pt snoozers
