check out www.edmunds.com to get the invoice price of the truck.. You should be able to get it for $500 over dealer invoice or less.

6sp vs auto:
Both are great tranny's.. So go with what you like best..
Personally, I prefer manuals. Others prefer the auto..

My family has owned 7 Powerstrokes over the lat 4 years. I currently have a 99 F250 4x4 CC w/auto and love it. I recommend a superchip, it not only improves power tremendously (40hp, 100ftlbs), but also improves fuel economy. My brother in-law hauls race horses for a living and has a 99 F350 4X2 CC w/Man. Over the last year he has had 4 clutches put in. All have been due to throw out bearings or clutch springs. Tranny is OK, clutch is awful. Not only limited to him, but also several of his friends as well. Granted, he pulls a heavy load over long distances, but at $1400 a pop installed, that is crazy. Ford Warranty is for 24 months or 24,000 miles on the clutch, which he will blow through in 3 months.
