Which Fuel for the 2000 PSD?
My 2000 4x4 250 XLT CC PSD is currently on order, and due in 3 weeks. My question is, other than the legality of the matter, will the 2000 PSD's run on the off-road Diesel fuel. I have many friends who have later model PSD's and they all get much better mileage with the off-road fuel. I had heard that the 2000's would not run on off-road fuel and was wondering if anyone could put my question to rest. With the rising diesel prices, .73 for off-road is looking very good, especially knowing that the truck will never be checked by the DOT. Thanks for any replys.

Which Fuel for the 2000 PSD?
I have heard that they will run off the fuel. Supposedly the only difference is the red dye. You say you will never be checked. How can you possibly be so sure unless you never intend to drive it on the highway. Better stay out of Texas, away from rodeos, away from cattle sales, and away from farm country. Otherwise, you will get checked, eventually.
