Tranny Codes

Ok, I have a 95 F-150, 2wd, and I was wondering what tranny I have, according to the door sticker I have a M code tranny? My friends dad said it was a ZF, because I can't go more than 5 mph in 1st and I have OD, but my neighbor said it was a Mazda 5 speed.

MAzda transmission hasrectangular ribs on the outside of the case and ZF have diamond shaped ribs on the outside of it.

From: Copley, OH

M = Mazda
C = ZF close ratio (Diesel)
W = ZF wide ratio (Gasoline)

The ZFs supposedly were not used in the F150, although a few examples exist
