clear coat pealing.....help
The clearcoat is pealing off the bed rails of my 94 F150. I was wondering if anyone knows an effective way to make it stop pealing. The paint is fine and there is no rust, just can't stop the runaway clearcoat pealing! Any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

I've seen clearcoats peel on factory paint jobs, as well as repaints with top-of-the-line products. Base/clears have only been in widespread use for the past 20 years or so. It seems like the paint companies still have some homework to do when it comes to clearcoat adheasion. I hope they're making progress on it, considering the prices they charge us for paint!!
