brake problem

brake problem
[I have been told that i need to reset my brake differentail valve, where the brake lines go after the master cylander, how do i do this? my front brakes have fluid but no matter how long i try the back won't get fluid????

Get under truck at the valve there is a nut with a rubber cap take off the nut there will be a spring and a plunger that will be in there(don't lose them) The spring will come out eazy enough the plunger will probley be stuck so carefully remove.
note: at this time you will have a freeflow of brake fluid.
Replace plunger and spring and nut/cap( it is a little tricky) Then bleed the brakes as normal

did you get this problem taken care of? if not I had the same problem I took the proportioning valve off and used an air hos to see if i had a clog, this may stop the fluid from reaching you back lines, old fluid can solidify and clog the valve. If it's not clogged you should be receiving fluid in the back lines.
