gauges and ground problem

i have a 2001 powerstroke with lots of electronics in it and i have the apc headlights and three gauges on the pillar well today i hit the brakes to dodge some idiot who pulled out in front of me and somehow mysteriously my exhaust gauge and my trans temp gauge and my fog lights stopped working? beats me i have checked every factory fuse and every ground and every inline fuse? what is the deal?

Did you perhaps run tour wiring near the brake pedal mechanical linkage? Its pretty easy to sever wiring if it get caught up in the brake pedal mechanical linkage. I know you are thinking other electrical, but you should check that area, because the wires may be just enough severed to allow contact with metal making a ground and blowing a fuse.... Its very coincidental that this happened after applying brakes.
