C4 Shifting Problem
I just recently had my C4 transmission rebuilt. Everything seems to shift fine until the truck has been run about 15-20 minutes (drive across town) and everything has warmed up. Then the transmission gets sluggish shifting from 2nd to 3rd and once in 3rd wants to shift down into 2nd everytime gas pedal is pushed down much. The kickdown linkage is not hooked up and the modulator is new. I wondered if maybe it was just a band adjustments. The transmission is in a 1976 Ford F150 with a 351W. Any ideas or suggestions?
