I thought about punching a hole in a 3 pound coffee can, sticking it on my truck's exhaust pipe, writing "Type R" on the thing, taking a few pictures of the truck, and making it my sig on another board I'm on. There's somebody who did all sorts of stuff to his Neon there.
Is that a Red Green version of a ricer?lol. At least they could have made the upgrades permanent.I take it that they aren't a ford fan.Good for a laugh though. It looks about as rediculous as the rest of the ricer setups.
Hey guys, you may not agree with what they are doing, but they like it. They are upgrading the vehicle that the own, and customizing it to suite their tastes. It's no different than when you add mud tires, a brush gaurd, and skid plates. You may never go off road, but you still have it. What did your parents say when you were upgrading the car you drove? Cause you sound just like them!
It isn't what they do to the cars that is the problem (Although it does look stupid); it's the attitude that the drivers have. They THINK they have improved their cars and they THINK they are faster so they drive that way. Also, they aren't "customizing their cars to suit their tastes" if they all end up looking the same. Plus, how can anyone say that ricers are "just being original" when what they are doing is obviously a fad because it can be popularized by popular people, movies, and cheap marketing schemes?
They are doing what they want to the car that they own. If they want to look the same, more power to them. Think back to the 70s when people were modifying their cars. That was also a fad. It's here to stay, and you guys are just gonna have to deal with it. You must also realize that not all of their cars are slow, some of them will waste you in any race, and they give the 60s and 70s muscle cars a run for their money. Just because you don't agree with it doesn't mean that you have to bash them.
