OD switch reversed??!!
The switch on my dash to engage OD seems backwards to me. I have to push it to turn it off when starting the vehicle. Why is OD on when you start the vehicle. Wouldn't it make more sense to have this set up so you push it to turn it on once you reach OD speed?

The switch enables overdrive, it doesn't turn it on. Enabling means it is allowed to shift to overdrive AFTER it reaches the proper speed for overdrive.
With the overdrive enabled or disabled the truck will start in first gear, shift to second, then to third. If the overdrive is enabled it will shift to fourth (which is overdrive) when it reaches the proper speed.
