EFI on 68 429 ????
A friend of mine wonts me to help him put a 429 in his 93 F 350 and use the EFI on it. I wonted to know if it would work. It has dove heads on it outher than a little port matching what will we need to do. The stock 460 is not a option for parts it is a fred jones motor that he has ben working on for 2 years the 429 is free.

You can port a set of EFI 460 heads and install bigger valves they will bolt on to your 429 but they will also lower your comp. raito.
If you decide to go this route get 93 or newer heads they have the best port configuration and have larger valves than the earlyer EFI heads.
